Christmas Light Event 2017

It’s been awhile that I have updated the blog. Had a long holiday in winter and did some other freelance work.

This is a backdate post about the Christmas Light Festival of 2017 in Macau, which it seems to be an annual event since 2 or 3 years ago.  But, each year, it is a little bit different, but they mostly decorate on the UNESCO heritage sites in Macau.  There were 9 sites to visit and take picture, I only went to a few of them. Just by these 5 or 6 places, it took me like a 2 weeks to visit them. Fortunately, the light festival usually last from Dec 1 till 31.

This time will be mostly photos with captions:

About me

A story about E. T. Style of Macau

Above image sourced from google image.

E.T. is a cute outsider who is curious and wants to understand human and earth by finger touch. I am E.T., but I am not a Macau outsider, the fact is my name initial. E.T.

I act as the bridge, the “finger touch” to connect outside visitors and locals of Macau. My biggest mission is to discover hidden cool experiences with the tourists / visitors together in Macau.

Macau World Heritage

Macau World Heritage Site Series 澳門世界文化遺產景點系列 25/25

Due to typhoon “Hato”, the tourists are not that confident to visit us. Even though, some sites are affected, our Macau is still beautiful.
由於之前「天鴿」的關係, 影響了好多遊客對來澳門旅遊的信心. 雖然, 是對我們有些地方的景點是有點影響. 但, 其實我們澳門依然美麗.

Lots of the parts were fall from the buildings rooftops.

In the morning on August 23rd, 2017, Typhoon Hato, a severe typhoon with warning up to signal no. 10 had washed Macau with heavy flooding. Prepaid phone sim / 預付電話卡

Yesterday, I went to the four main telecom companies in Macau and have gathered the prepaid sim information.  Wherever I go, I must buy a phone SIM card to get around, so I can use the google map, search for information, and most importantly stay connected on my Facebook, WeChat,  instagram so and so etc.

You can buy these prepaid cards at 7-eleven or OK convenient stores. I think CTM do have phone SIM card vending machine at ferry terminal and airport, but quite often out of stock. If not, you might as well need to go to their store to buy. All these four telecom companies have branch stores that are with 10-20 minutes walk away from Senado Square.

I have highlighted each company SIM card details as below, which you may refer to my recommendation if you are staying in Macau for 1 – 3 days. After the chart, I have attached the data plan images, and the source link which you can explore for more details.
